I wanted to show you an alternative method to creating an overlay. This is especially helpful for those of you who struggle a bit with gel, or just want a faster more "instant" overlay method.

So we've covered how to apply overlays, but what do we do when the product grows out? In this video I'm going to show you how to backfill a clear overlay (and next time I'll show you color removal too).

One of the key steps in doing a backfill is removing all the old color so we can access the overlay product. Today we go over how to effectively remove color using a hand file on your own nails.

Last time I showed you how to remove your own color layer to access the overlay, and this lesson I'm going to show you how to achieve the same color removal on a client.
